Just as things started taking off for the band, Dom was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer which finally took his life November 27, 1989. He never let his illness dictate how he lived his life though and wrote, performed and recorded the whole way through. This collection helps to bring Dom Leone's songs to a wider audience with the hope that even if you never had the opportunity to meet him, you will be affected by his life the way so many of us have. The CD will benefit the Dom Leone Writing Competition, started by friends and family in Ohio. Since 1990 it has been helping kids grade 1-12 to find their own voices.

Assembled over the course of two years of searching for the perfect artist and the perfect song, Don't Let The Bastards Get You Down celebrates the songwriting genius and emotional depth of one of our best, and lately undersung, singer/songwriters, Kris Kristofferson. It's a testament to Kristofferson's simple, earthy themes and melodies that his songs could be taken in so many different directions.

See You On The Moon! is our offering to kids all over the world. We noticed that most of the time kids are far more intelligent than the adults surrounding them. We can only hope this peace offering of eclectic, new and exclusive tracks will do the trick!

Our friends all made very special tracks just for this project. Throwing condescension out the window and understanding the concept of fun without it being mindless or moronic — all the tracks will appeal to kids and grown ups alike.
