The “if I want to play some fucking leads, I’m going to play some fucking leads” album that Ivo over at 4AD Records refused to release, thus ending Red House Painters’ contract with them. No worries, as this album was picked up by John Hughes’ imprint Supreme Recordings, a division of Island Record. “Long Distance Runaround” differs from the Ocean Beach 2×10″ version, and “All Mixed Up” appears in the film Excess Baggage.

Plain Recordings (June 2009)
